Eternity Main

A Sailor Moon Fanshrine

Main & Major Characters

Neo-Queen Serenity may almost never leave The Crystal Palace but Usagi Chiba ducks out fairly often... It's one of the things her and Mamoru do whenever they're playing hooky but she also goes by herself. She uses the Moon Pen to disguise herself and Mamoru and they go exploring. Her Guardians, Luna, and Artemis do know about this. Chibi-Usa and Diana, on the other hand, don't find out until they are teens when Usagi takes them out during school vacation.

King Endymion makes regular pilgrimages to Elysion to help Helios pray for the safety of the planet. Unlike his wife's silver crystal, his golden crystal isn't known about. This was partly because of Chibi-Usa and timelines but also it gives an edge against their enemies. For example, the golden crystal was a big reason why the earth was able to handle so much of the black crystal during the war with the Black Moon. The Black Crystal would have eventually won, esp as the king wasn't able to access it's full power while in a coma, but it did buy everyone time.

The Inner Guardians all have different jobs besides their roles as guardians. When in Crystal Tokyo they also sit on counsel with the Queen to advise her. They are still the princesses of their planets but they have someone else actually dealing with the day to day running of their castles. Also it's a matter of protocol to refer to the senshi by their Sailor names while transformed, and Lady first name when in civilian gear when with people who know their civilian identities. These identities are well known in the palace and their castles but not well known otherwise.

Ami is the head doctor for the royal family (a role she rarely needs to play). As such she's also the Head Scientist of Earth. In this role it is her job to work with her team to make sure new inventions, discoveries, etc are ethical. She also works with the archivists to make sure all scientific literature is recorded. Ami has a special friend, a fellow scientist, that she's been in a somewhat casual relationship with. There have been rumors that they're getting married at any time though.

Rei is the Priestess of the Crystal Palace, in charge of all rituals within the Crystal Palace and larger events throughout Crystal Tokyo. The major religion of this Empire is a mixture of the Silver Millennium Religion, the old Earth religion (of the time of the Silver Millennium), and Shinto. With that said, religious freedom is encoded in law so she works with the heads of other religions to make sure everyone is working well together and avoiding any dangerous or abusive beliefs or practices. She also helps in the archives, in her case though it's related to religion and spiritual practices. She isn't married and is pretty uninterested. There have been rumors about her and Minako but no one is certain on what's going on there.

Makoto is the chatelaine of the Crystal Palace; as such she manages much of the day to day housekeeping. She also plans many of the parties (with the other girls' help) and helps cook or arrange flowers whenever she has time. She's the only Senshi that is married and her husband is the head chef to the palace.

Minako is in charge of both defense and diplomacy. As such she is frequently traveling throughout the empire, and sometimes beyond. Her job alone isn't related to her dream of being an idol but she has made it a point to release a record under a different identity every decade or so. Despite rarely touring, The Masked Singer (her look is loosely biased off her Sailor V fuku) is fairly popular. She has yet to do any live action acting but does do voice work sometimes. Minako has thought about marrying but she has yet to find a guy or girl who can keep up with her busy schedule.

Haruka and Michuru live in one of their castles (they alternate every decade or so) and work with Minako in diplomacy and defense. Occasionally, Haruka and/or Michuru gets itchy feet and, with their Queen's permission, leaves to pursue their dreams.

Setsuna (the Pluto we meet in the third arc) rarely leaves her castle (usually to visit Haruka and Michuru), however she does have access to other people, both those who live in her castle and those across the empire through her castle's computer. She works closely with Ami in her role of head scientist. After Chibi-Usa met her past self during the third arc, she once again guards the time gate but the Queen made it so that she only had to be at the gate whenever something bad is going on (that's why she was there during the fith arc). The rest of the time she still lives at her palace.

Hotaru asked for permission from the Queen (soon after Usagi's wedding) to sleep in a form of suspended animation until she could join Chibi-Usa or the world needed her powers. Neo Queen Serenity agreed and she was awakened after Chibi-Usa, Diana, and her senshi came back from the Galaxy Cauldron. She now goes to school with the other girls on the moon. During vacation she visits her parents.

Luna works as the head archivist as well as the head Counselor to Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion.

Artemis primarily works with Minako but also spends time on the Counsel whenever possible.

Minor Characters

Phobos and Demos spend most of their time at their Princess's Castle as it's caretaker but they still spend part of their time with Sailor Mars, helping her with her duties.

Mamoru's Knights stay in their stone form, at their request. They say that once their Lord dies they will return to the Galaxy Cauldron to be reborn but until then they wish to stay in stone form both as a form of penance and out of fear they may be corrupted again.

The main cast's families and friends are still alive and mostly live in Crystal Tokyo. They do visit the palace whenever possible to see their family member/friend. Again palace workers know who these people are but the general public doesn't.

The Starlights and Princess Kakyuu visited often during their lifetime and are the only aliens (besides their descendants) that are allowed on Earth at any time and any reason. They are a long lived folk but not as long as the people of the Silver Millennium so after their deaths their children continue the visits.

Crystal Tokyo & Earth

Despite the long lives of people, children are not really any rarer than earth today. This is due to the various Castles and other living spaces of the old Silver Millennium being open so there's more space for people than you'd expect. With that said around the time Chibi-Usa goes to the moon for her schooling there are mild concerns for overpopulation. The debate is whether to make more spaces across the solar system or limit the number of children being born somehow.

Earth, and the other planets, are in a post scarcity society, but not in a post money society. Like the old Silver Millennium they have food, housing, clothing, schooling, and medical care automatically but they do use money for extras, such as games, travel, and extra or nicer things for their homes/clothes/etc.

The culture is slower to change than what we're used to but it isn't stagnate. Everyone knows a single language for communicating across the entire kingdom and has a single money type but otherwise their various cultures still exist. In addition there are cultures we don't have on our earth.

Earth's industry is similar to ours but with much less waste and pollution. Partly this is due to magic but also better technology and people in power who care more. Magic is pretty common on earth, roughly 1/3-1/2 of her people are able to use it. No one knows why magic is common now but the theory is that the Silver Crystal (and Golden for those who know about that) has something to do with it.

The Moon & Planets

The Old Magic schools have been reborn but there's a new school in the Palace itself. Planets send their newly awakened senshi (during times of peace), princesses and other important people to this school both to learn from other peoples and to form alliances with each other. This is also the school Chibi-Usa and her team goes to after she comes back from the Cauldron. There are correspondence courses for those who don't quite make the cut or have to stay on their planet for one reason or another but actually going is much more prestigious. One of the few times Neo Queen Serenity leaves the palace officially was during it's official opening and big anniversaries. Our Senshi don't teach classes there but sometimes one or more will show up as a guest speaker.

They mostly do the same things as they did during the Silver Millennium. The outer planets are much more connected to both the inner planets and other planets across the galaxy when compared to the Silver Millennium.

After the Sailor Quartet awaken, Neo Queen Serenity gives them their own palaces, named after their asteroid. They request not to be named princesses so they are the Sailor Duchesses. Their palaces are smaller and are mostly known for mining.
